I just checked my email and I've got a confirmation email around 2 hours after I placed the order. I've not had a second email to confirm the order and my order number ends 34xx. What's my chances of getting one?

I've got 1 reserved at Comet but I don't want to go get that tomorrow and then end up with 2 of them (I'm not a greedy ******* like some of you ).

I think they allocated most of their orders by phone. I'm not expecting anything.

Another HP Preferred Partner (IE should be eligible to shift them and claim back from HP?) listing nearly 1000 in stock.

Hopefully enough around for fulfilment? HP could be offering retails cash refunds or recalls? HP might then re-distribute to those requiring stock for orders they took themselves?

well I was given dates - Dispatch Estimate: 25 Aug 2011 and Delivery Estimate: 30 Aug 2011 - 1 Sep 2011 but I wasn't in any rush so picked free delivery as it gives me a chance to cancel if cpw comes through which I doubt lol

Still could be cancelled but I haven't had amazon cancel on me before when I've been given dates for delivery
