After I gave up in to finding one, I've asked guy from IT if they have any business accounts with misco,insight etc...they have with insight...he hasn't heard anything about touchpad mania!!! So I've told him to call insight...our rep said he could get us a couple :) now all he has to do,is to try place an order not using our stupid finance system as we can't use it for our private purchases...fingers crossed!:)

this is true. I had a heated discussion with our account manager when he offered to sell me a 16GB model at £150 when I was waiting a back order of 2 32GB models at £115.

I'm still waiting.....Insight are not my friends at the moment :mad:
 
I have just nipped to my local Argos, the guy there confirmed they are receiving a shipment on the 11th. Looks like I will have to have an early start on Monday! ;)

I'm sure the staff will probably get them all. May try and get my bro to nip down for opening though. I'm sure it will be nigh on impossible to order any online.

The phones are selling for £400

Instant £20 odd pounds in your pocket, plus a free touchpad and paid for sim card.

No idea what I'd do with the sim card..

Thinking about it... these hp pre 3's on a 24 month contract are here for £15.50 a month (£372) and sell for a profit on ebay... and bag the free item?

Plus £30 cashback from quidco.

They might forefit the cashback on that offer (I think I read that somewhere) but still, it does look like a cracking bargain. Wonder if we'll be able to get onto the site...

Problem is that after tomorrow will the price of the pre 3 plummet on ebay?

If not, then it;s you best bet for getting a free touchpad and a free sim with minutes included.

That is true.

I'm considering doing it now with the Archos 7... Not really sure how long it takes to receive the items though.

Tbh even if they did plummet and you got £200 for your pre3 then you would still have a decent contract sim worth £240 (£10 per month) and a touchpad for the total cost of £172 spread over 24 months. :D

In my case I think I would sell the touchpad and keep the pre 3 to go with my touchpad.
