Goodnight!

One thing to look at..

This firesale might be a way for HP to achieve some success - despite the closing of tablets and PCs..

Could they potentially beat the sales of the Apple iPad?

Not even close, there aren't enough of them.

Comet have just told me that I have to pay full retail price if I go and collect it + if they are adjusted I don't get the rebate?

The hell?

They told me that I'll pay whatever the price is at the time when I go to collect and not the price stated when I reserved it.

I will phone up myself, see what price I would pay :)

Also, if peoples reserve ends at midnight tonight, does that mean they will automatically be available to take by someone else online at 12:00am?

That's what I though.

To be fair she did say I'd reserved an ipad, paused and then said 'the hp ipad tablet'.

I honestly don't know how these people get a job in these places. If they employed people with a little bit of knowledge I'm sure sales would go up by 1000%!*

*probably wouldn't happen

Now then, seems my local (nearest 2) Argos stores will allow reserve for delivery to store, arriving Thursday 25th onwards.....on the 32GB model - sounds like a plan ?!

I wouldn't bank on reserve and collect, more often that not when I have used it the stuff has not been put aside
