it was a MiniGadget MG328 android tablet computer, i think, it does sound quite promising, looks like a fake ipad aha

Finally got one from Argos. I reserved it at full price last night. Prices dropped over night. Apparently my local Argos had 100+ touchpads brought in stock last night. All were reserved within 2 minutes.
 
I ordered 1 from CPW (order convo at 19:40 on 22/08/2011) with a reservation of ****4424 and when i rang yesterday i was told i will get one its just backlogged.

I also ordered one from Jungle (order convo at 00:04 on 23/08/2011) with a order number of ***-*******-*309914 and i runf them yesterday they said they had ran out of stock but expecting more in and i will get one!


???? Good news or not?
 
Called Argos, they will partially refund me on the two I ordered for home delivery (seperate orders) but they said to call when they arrive. Delivery scheduled today. :D

Result, the gamble paid off! If my CPW one comes through I'll have successfully got 3 in the end (one for me, one for my dads birthday and one for z0mbi3 here).

And not sure if you need to be a business with them but we have an account.

Also, yesterday, their stock was the same as the bt home shop and Babs (BT own Babs) so it's likely that if the BT business is going live with 500+ then Babs and BT home shop will as well.
 
well someones telling porkies on here

no theyre not getting 500 plus stock, theyre only getting 10 to allocate to people who bought one and had no stock.

she confirmed with manager that theres been hair pulling but no spondooo.

Quick update for anyone who ordered online with Comet:

I just rang them up to check on my order as it was still processing. The woman I spoke to spoke to the 'Internet Sales Team' who have now processed my order. Just got a confirmation email as well with a delivery date of 5th September.

Give them a call if you have any questions, they are pretty helpful.

Nice one, hoping Amazon do something similar for the 32GB ones, mine's arriving today, might send HP an email see if they're planning/know anything.
