I bet anything I can think of for the "think beyond" will make me very dissapointed when they actually tell us what it is. :p

I'm thinking maybe a holographic touch display (like MS surface with 3D tech). :p

I think it's in the tens of thousands of dollars and only available to companies. Not a consumer device.

They keep teasing us with consumer uses though. :(

I want a table that doubles as a computer that doubles as a scanner and can identify a cup, a photo or keys as you put it down....

I don't know what I'd use it for IRL but I still want it. :D

EDIT: And now imagine that in 3D, with things rising up and swirling around. :p

Wow the TouchPad has some nice specs

9.7 inch display 1024 x 768
WiFi b/g/n
Bluetooth
16 or 32 GB storage
Gyro, accelerometer, compass
Dual Core 1.2GHz snapdraggon processor
Front-facing 1.3MP camera

QuickOffice, Google Docs, Dropbox, and Box.net compatibility. VPN, video calling, wireless printing.

So HP Pre 3 and Touchpad vs Iphone 5 and Ipad 2, for the best proprietary devices.

Let the battle commence.

This news is all very exciting but I would like to have seen an upgrade to the pixi plus. :(

I see no prices announced, no app store system either. Cant see this grabbing much of the market

WebOS already has an App Catalog.

the screen size is the same as the pixi, credit card length as shown in OP.

same cpu as the desire Z, with 512 ram. Perfect phone for the teens/ women segment. (no offence intended. )

Think i'll keep my WP for the time being. Tablet looks very nice though...;)

Shame I have no use for it...:p

No massive multitouch 3D surface then...:(
Told you the beyond would be a disappointment..:p

I don't think WP7, Pre 3 will get anywhere near iPhone numbers. They will cater to their niche and that's about it. (but you're right i missed them off the list)

Its the tablet market where no one is really established yet where things are interesting.

I dunno, to an extent I think that will be driven by the phone OS you have. Most people buying a tablet will be smartphone users and only a silly person would buy one with a different OS on it, unless of course we get multisystem apps but the providers will never allow this.
