5liveF1 on twitter confirms that Chandhok will be joining them again on Friday for Free Practice 1 and 2

Shame I am working and will miss the opportunity to hear him during Free Practice again. As I mentioned in the German GP thread, Yamamoto has done nothing but make a fool of himself and the HRT management for trying to pass it off as driver testing/evaluation. I honestly can't see how any amount of sponsorship cash can gloss over how poor he has been. I am all for giving him ago but he has had is attempt to impress and failed.

You can get them on iplayer, for at least 24hrs after. Click on the sport category.

even if chandhok never drives for hrt again its more than likely someone else will pick him up. hes one of the most profesional and likeable drivers to enter f1 in the last 10 years.

Oh I know but its not quite the same as vegging out on the sofa with a cup of tea, that and finding time to do it doesn't help.

Ive never heard Davidson being bitter (admittedly I dont listen 5 live feed all the time but generally he seems pretty professional - from a commentator point of view)

He really does seem to add something to the 5live commentry.

Got to feel for the guy though must be frustrating having to sit out and watch some do nothing with your car
