He's been the highlight of the Friday practice coverage.
If he can't get a better drive I think he has a great future in TV

Quite a few of the ex F1 guys make good commentators, look at those that have tried it in recent years. Brundle, Button, Davidson and now Chandhok

Ant Davidson is off playing with Peugeot this weekend and Chandhok is taking apparently taking his place all weekend - according to Chandhoks twitterings anyway.

Hopefully soon. They pay significantly better as he has backing that pays HRT for his 'drive'.

havent HRT said now that they have no intention of adjusting the drive line up for the rest of the season? effectively releasing karon? should he/his sponsors really be paying for a drive he no longer has?

Poor soul doesnt even have a drive for 2011 atm, thatd suck

First I've heard. I can't see him giving the finger to HRT, as a drive is a drive at the end of the day.

Nice to see him replace deGrassi at Virgin next season.

Colin Kolles has confirmed that Sakon Yamamoto is to remain at HRT for the foreseeable future.

Maybe im just reading too much into that

Doubt hed jump on a BBC contract without atleast trying to get a 2011 seat though

I do hope he organises a better drive next year as HRT as they are a bit of a joke, if not he's got to end up on 5 live as he's one interesting chap!

Stunning qualifying from Yamamoto today. Really showing why HRT made the correct choice to keep him on. Got to be chuffed with being last again. Great way to entice sponsors for next year

Can only hope Chandhok finds a seat for next year.

Looks like Sutil is out of contract for Force India next season. Rumours that he may replace Schumi @ Mercedes IF he decides to leave. Regardless of if he does or does not I think this is a great opportunity for Force India to get Karun in the team. Would be great for both.

That would be great for Karun, But at the same time I don't want him to get a drive next year just so we get his commentary again!

(I'm kidding I'd rather see him get a proper chance in a proper team)

I feel sorry for Karun, he has great potential and he's just being allowed to stagnate. I think he's just proud to wear the uniform as that's the kinf oguy he seem but he deserves a permanent seat next year. Force India would be an massive oppertunity for him.
