**HTC HD2 Thread**

they used the wrong image and specs, if you go to the windows mobile section of the website, they have the correct phone and specs listed. Also on T mobile the phone is known as HTC Touch HD2

There is no "touch HD2" It's just "HD2" and yes, the image they used is of the old HD. Plus the specs etc are just some random copy and paste rubbish :p

If they ruin it (physically) then T-Mobile can smb!
 
The HD2 IS the Touch HD2, just like the HD is the Touch HD. As for anroid there may be two slightly different phones out eventually, one with android and one with WM, which would be good for everyone as you could flip and choose either by flashing! :p

HTC have already confirmed that they aren't going to be making an Android HD2.

But no doubt there will be cooked ROMs that will do a semi-decent job... maybe!

And yes they'll probably bring out a "similar" specced phone, sporting Android, in the future.
 
This might be my next phone after seeing the iphone tarrifs on Orange, problem is Orange are not getting this phone! Contract is up in 3 weeks and I cant see me sticking with them now.

how do you know they are not getting it?

i was thinking about this one too after seeing the stupid iphone tarrifs
 
its looking much better than I had anticipated, although the sample camera shots on the net are terrible for a 5mp cam, now I know its not all about the pixels but my old c500 did better shots than the ones floating around, although a rom update should fix it apparently, i can upgrade to a new phone on Tmobile in december but no tarrif or prices yet.
 
Looks yummy, but it needs to be not running WM (TF3D/Sense helps an awful lot, but WM still lurks underneath ready to snap at unsuspecting passers-by). And no, the band are not tuning up. I lived with WM for two years. I'm done, thanks.

Won't be getting one though - only had the iPhone a few months so impossible to justify.
 
Just ordered mine today on Vodafone contract. It's from the online wing of Carphone Warehouse. All processing fine currently. Can't wait to get it. Looks awesome!
