with core player can you get the headset controls to work with it? i find they will only work with the built in player.

Im also looking for a new ROM, im using a cleanEX blackseries one atm but I don't like the way it always turns wireless and bluetooth back on after turning off and it still freezes on me occasionally.

Will have a look at that miri and dinks one now.

Had a weird problem the other, had the gps running whilst in the car, and after a while the phone was not charging. The status light was flashing between red and green, it was showing it was connected. I did noticed the back of the phone was pretty hot as it was in direct sunlight stuck to the window. Will the battery not charge if it gets too hot?

Indeed, it was on for no more than 15 mintutes before i noticed it was not charging. It was a stupidly hot day tho and the sun was magnified through the window. Maybe i'll have mount it below the dash near the centre column rather than the window.

The not charging when hot thing is something my old Touch Diamond used to do as well! I didn't realise till it told me that the battery had run out while using GPS

Looks like people have a working (if not stable version) already.

Should be great once they get the drivers etc optimised and stable. The thread just moves so quickly. It was only a few days ago that they could just about book to Linux!
