Can you still get to the multi coloured screen? If you can do a task 29. Then try installing everything again. Lots of guides on xda if you haven't already looked.

right , sorted it, downgraded spl seems to have fixed the issue, now running android, nicer than the san fran

Little help needed. Wife got an s2 and I was going to sell the hd2. Turned it on other day and it got stuck on the o2 logo so pressed the reset button and now nothing. Won't charge or switch on. Tried hard reset too . Any ideas or is it a shop job

Been a while since I had an hd2. But as previously mentioned all is not lost if you can get the multi colour screen. Which you should be able to if you reach the o2 screen. Just need to do some homework on xda.

Right, another HD2 snag here, I can't get WiFi teathering to work.

Tried 3 roms so far on 3 different handsets (mine, wifes & mothers) and every time the handset crashes and reboots as soon as I turn on the teathering.

getting a bit annoyed now!

Is it a known problem or am I just being "special"?

The HD2 really is the phone that will not die! Its amazing what people still do with it! Sold mine many years ago as I hated winmob 6.5 but seeing this thread again brings back memories of how good the phone looked and felt back in the day.

Hehe I remember running Android, WM6.5 and Ubuntu on mine at one point. Amazing the dev's are still giving this some life!

Still got one, still runs ok but a bit dated! mainly use it to watch the babycam on wifi!
