HTC Vive

Very cool video demoing the Vive :D

Also, when I went to the Vive order page on Steam it is saying "In Stock" Does that mean you can just order one now and get one this week?

As happy as I am to be getting my Vive tomorrow (jinxed now probably) it really does suck about the CC orders being so ****** up, digital river are a massive handling company for transactions so God only knows what's happened between them, HTC and the banks. The fact I got order confirmation relatively late after pre-orders went live (13 minutes) after a ton of others, yet will receive mine before them, is utterly retarded.

I actually think this is probably a bigger screw up than the Oculus launch. It shows just how well a company like Apple handle these things.

If I don't get it by the end of the week, I'll certainly be pushing for a refund on the shipping costs.

It's completely understandable the high demand etc. but to pay £57 for delivery within 4 mins and not get it the first week of launch would be too much for me to let slide.

Yeah, I think it's a bit more of a screw up that Oculus to be honest. At least CC's and PayPal are processing for Oculus, albeit slowly, and it seems to be going out mostly in the order of peoples orders.

HTC seem to be purely PayPal orders only in Europe.

If you feel that bad, I'll happily take your delivery :D

Good demo that.

The Steam page that I'm looking at links to HTC preorder page.

"Pre-orders will start shipping May 2016
Available for shipment to the UK"

Anyway to just log in and change payment to pay pal? I would do it now
It I could

Haha, dammit when I reentered my credit card details to be pushed through the queue after the cancellation orders.... part of me knew I should have used Paypal. haha

Doesn't matter now. Just bought another set of VR games, £40 worth, adding Hover Junkers, The Rose and I, Felt Tip Circus and Light Repair Team.

So many games! So much hype haha.

I'm the opposite I've queued up the free stuff and I'll only buy something else when I've stuck the damn thing on my head. Hopefully tomorrow after receiving my tracking info.

EDIT: Wow very good demo linked above, why am I only seeing that now!

I would like to know how they do that.. how they match the in-game footage positioning with what the real life camera is doing... how do they match the position and movement?

the last message I have is

Thanks for pre-ordering the HTC Vive. Your order's being processed now.

Really? Still says "In Stock" for me - used to say "Preorders start shipping May 2016" earlier today but this afternoon it's changed to "In Stock".
