As far as i'm aware some were able to order on site from OC back in march, the first batch of stock has been sent out to OC pre-orders and that seemed to be next day delivery, at the moment the best i'm aware of is some time in june, not had any updates bar pestering live chat once a week. I believe they are coming straight from OC.

I had mine for over a month I guess and loved the native games but there weren't enough titles to engage me for more than a few weeks. I think that's when I starting to look for uses outside of the Steam games and then began to wish it didn't have the current limitations.

So after deliberating for a week it stuck it on Ebay. Price went way over £800 though I got some right idiot questions and then the auction winner didn't pay and made some excuse. So re-listed and more idiot questions plus obvious phishing attempts again went over £800 and it was shipped out today.

I really do hope it's the last I see of it at least until the next gen gets released

Did you not play any PC games with it? Such as project cars, elite dangerous, Eve Valykrie etc?

I have to say I purchased Project Cars GOTY edition on impulse last night as I wanted to ticker with a driving game and I'm blown away. Considering I'm hampered by a 360 controller the level of immersion is amazing. I keep stacking it just watching other cars to the side of me!

That's a good way to induce VR sickness

controllers, viewing sideways and crashing!

I'm good when it’s tracking me looking but when I discovered tapping the left or right digital pad performed the same action; oh yeah that threw me a little, as did the movement when viewing replays.

For those that are playing Elite, they have updated VR again and it's almost there. Looks much better than in beta

Yes both Elite & Project cars plus other games via VorpX. Project Cars was the decider as the car interiors are nice enough but what I want is an apex that's not a blur of pixels mixed with SDE. I found that just annoying. The targeting in Elite was a joy but again a big step down from 3440x1440 to ~1280x1014 just too much for me. Roll on the next gen.

Out of interest; are you changing anything in the options? I just launch it via Steam in VR mode and have it set to VR high. Any other tweaks to get it looking even better?

I agree though it seems to look and perform better than previously; I can now at least read the text on the side consoles!

With Elite I have to set the nvidia settings to run it in single gpu mode or it's a jittery mess

Project cars was the same .. Seems SLI isn't supported

I use VR high and also change sampling to 1.5x. That's it. Have tried Ultra at 1.0x sampling and it runs with no frames drops too but can't decide if it's better or not lol

Exactly what I'm finding... I'm only interested in sim racing games really. Looking ahead is just not clear enough, it's blurry. Immersion is good - much better than looking at a flat screen - but I also game at 3400x1440 and that's just gloriously sharp by comparison, I can't deal with VR as it is. Like you say bring on the next gen - hopefully then the res and graphics cards can do it justice!

The other games in the Lab etc are great and because they are big and bold the lack of sharpness/blurriness isn't such an issue. Where as games based on realism which require you to look ahead don't seem to have the clarity there yet. I'm a bit disappointed to be honest :-/

I must say, Vanishing Realms is fantastic. Not typically a game I'd play, but it's very immersive. It's like stepping foot in that Knightmare TV series which I used to watch as a kid!

I Liked Vanishing realms but I'm 5cm of the recommended floor space which is annoying

loved the trials at the end of the campaign as well.. just wish the game was longer

I don't really have much of an issue with the corners. Maybe I'm a bad racing driver. It isn't super clear, but everything seems OK. Certainly not high def, but plenty good enough.

I do wonder if there is different quality of units though.

My replacement just got delivered. For green pixels. Got spare cables and straps now too :-)

Can't test it til Monday, but hopefully in good working order. Less green pixels will be enough for me. 7 in the right eye sucked.

Oooh thanks for that; that does make the text a little clearer. I wonder if there are other colour schemes/combinations which work better.

Out of interest how do you get into the advanced settings in order to set super sampling? I can only seem to choose the graphic defaults or custom but that then doesn't expand to show the other settings?

EDIT - You need to expand the settings using the mouse! Silly me.
