HTC Vive

Just briefly then, what are the best games so far?

Audioshield can be brilliant. Hover Junkers is decent. Bought Vanishing Realms (or something like that?) but haven't played it yet.

All I've been playing lately is Universe Sandbox - I love it.

Well June is here, and my order should arrive at some point this month :)

What games do you recommend i should stay away from folks and what is a must buy?

I love (in no particular order)
- Hordze - scares the crap outta me sometimes
- Elite dangerous - looks amazing
- Project cars - they need to sort graphics out .. too many jaggys
- Vanishing realms - great fun .. needs to be longer
- Hover Junkers - first play gave me motion sickness and nearly fell over
- Brookhaven Project (only demo available atm)

5 min wonder Games
-Job Simulator
- Space Pirate Trainer
- The Blu
- The Lab
- Gunjack
- Budget cuts (demo)

Bored me games:
- Call Of the Starseed
- Cloudlands Mini Golf
- Time machine VR
- Sisters
- Vanishing of ethan Carter VR
- The Visitor
- Fantastic Contraption

Pretty much agree with the above

Don't bother buying The Blu. I have played the Lab loads, addicted to the archery. Plus some additions for me would be:

Holopoint (need space, but awesome)
Out of Ammo
Audioshield

Also worth trying Surgeon Simulator for 5 mins, its free and a good "demo"

I'll highly likely buy Budget Cuts when its released. I have Project Cars but its the only game that makes me want to spew

I tried Surgeon simulator .. just got into a mess with the controls might try out of ammo and holopoint

I agree with most of your post but then saw:

R U MAD???? lol

Yeah, this surprised me a bit as most impressions seem to have this as one of the big stand outs on the Vive - baring the price V length debate.

Only had my Vive since Monday and mainly still working through a lot of the free stuff at the moment but have heard so many good things about this that it is high on my list to buy once I get a bit more time.

I thought it would bother me too, however the 'extras' vr give you far outdo the res downside, your eyes adjust a little too.

Just take it for what it is, an amazing experience IMHO, enjoy that and force your mind to stop focusing on the downsides.

+1 the experience outweighs the resolution .. We just need more decent games

The room adjustment thing in Pool Nation where you grip the controllers and can spin the orientation is one of the most nausea inducing things I've ever experienced :p

Also bought the Light Sabre game, fun and cool but veeeeeeery limited.

pool nation VR is pretty good so far, nice to see a fps counter in the corner when you change detail. visually there does not appear to be any massive difference between high and ultra other than the fps drop. Music is really bland and the little two step that all the people are doing is a bit creepy!

grrrrrr... start some threads !

That's at least six post about Pool Nation VR, more than enough to get a thread going. :p

Plus it looks like it has online multiplayer, so could be good for organising games. It's also one I'm definitely interested in once I've rinsed some more of the demos and freebies, so would be good to have a dedicated thread to go to rather than digging through here for updates.
