HTC Vive

mod hello?

categories being:
dead pixels 1-3
dead pixels 3+ in one eye
controller issue requiring replacement
camera issue requirement HMD replacement
lighthouse issue requiring replacement

looking on reddit there is loads of issues...where as a quick google on the Rift and people are not reporting any issues at all by and large. Of course it could be that the Rifts haven't been built yet lol!
 
I have posted the poll for you. Please RTM your post if you want to grab a mod's attention. While we are fast, we can't be in every thread all the time.
 
Just had a call from HTC, useless company. I'll be getting the Vive sometime in April. That means that if it comes at the end of April, they've had my money for two months and I've had no Vive.
Useless they are.

I got all excited with 746.60 being held on my credit card. No idea why...it'll still take two weeks to arrive probably.

and is is really worth 746.60...guess that is subjective.
 
Is the Vive worth £746.60?? Probably a little overpriced in the grand scheme of things but it is new tech and near launch. After trying it on the weekend though, I have no problems paying that for it and would probably pay more if I could get my May delivery sooner hehe :D

I feel really dissappointed that they had only allowed preorders to be express delivery. And the fact there was no way to change the delivery when they claimed it was a mistake on their side.

It isnt as if it makes it that much quick in the scheme of things. 2months wait so far, what is an extra few days....

Hehe I even posted on facebook inviting friends over to try out my VR system, there all pretty much like "wtf is VR", did get my mum trying it though. She's in her 60's so kept it basic she tried out theBlu as she has always wanted to see the coral reef. Said it was brilliant and she felt like she was actually there under water, except she wasn't.
