HTC Wizard?

I didn't say i wouldn't buy second hand, i'm just wary of what you get. Especially through eBay, used can mean anything from 'taken out of the box' to 'scratch on screen' to 'won't turn on'. It's hard to trust people on eBay in this day and age.

I might buy it, if somebody would actually answer my original questions... namely the second one?

Ive got one in my draw running a WM6.5 rom from XDA Dev which it runs surprisingly well.

Its a decent enough handset and the keyboard is good but just dont expect the world. It will only accept 2gb mem cards max & the format is Mini SD (not the more popular MicroSD).

The camera is a write off so forget about using it but the LED flash can be using as a torch which comes in very handy...

The phone feels quite bulky in the pocket but feels nice in your hand imo and battery life isn't bad at all.

Web pages take an age to render however, even on Wi-Fi and my guess is that its due the phones lack of grunt.

For 70 sheets new is there a higher specced phone? Probably not but I still wouldn't buy it buddy. I'd save the extra cash up and go for a Nokia 5800 or T-Mobile Pulse (& unlock it).

And yes it will probably come unlocked..:D

I had the phone in 2005, was alright, but I sold it to Mazumamobile for £70 back in 2008, lol!

Look at the T-Mobile Pulse mate. Admittedly it costs twice as much, but it's still a great price for what it does, and at its price is still in the category of "budget" phone.

quoted for the truth. do not get that old HTC, you'll end up regretting it as a purchase, and seeing it as 70 quid thrown in the bin. (probably :p )

Spend a little more an get the pulse, which is an awesome phone for the value. wasn't it at 97 quid the other day?

I have looked at the Pulse, very much actually. I'm just not sure i'd take advantage of it enough to make it worth the extra. I only have a limited yearly budget and i'd like as much of it as possible to go on hardware. What else could i get for around this price? Preferably with a touch screen and wifi...
