Very handy batteries to carry, along with some wire wool. You can place the wire wool over both terminals and it'll burst into flames. Great for a camping trip if your matches have got wet.

Yep, tends to fit in quite well around uni terms and reading weeks so I can nip home and get all my meat from the butcher when I'm at home for a few days and bring it back with me. I'm lucky that Dad's got a car coolbox so it doesn't all get warm on the journey back, but I'm sure I could find a decent butcher near here if I couldn't get home

Do you freeze it? If so, does that not defeat the purpose in buying quality fresh meat?

A nice steak which is frozen, then defrosted and cooked still beats anything from ASDA or Tesco.
