Humble Indie Bundle

I can't get past the first boss on Revenge of the Titans. I dropped a heavy blaster in front of it and it barely scratched the bugger. I'd have to use a whole pack of them and I have nowhere near enough money for that.

I hope it isn't possible to gimp yourself through your research choices...?

If I remember, I did it by being quite quick on the selling of the useless turrets then building them near the boss guy, also using one of those special powers that you get, it takes a lot of damage off... It does seem difficult.. Sorry can't be of more help.

Thanks, it's just nice to know it isn't just a swine for me! I only had one go at it, I'll try again tonight.

If anyone is having trouble with hammerfight in windows turn you mouse up to the highest sensitivity and in hammerfight put the dpi thing at around 200. Don't use the calibration tool it isn't very good.

How do you get the extra games they have added via Steam? If I add the code again it says its been already redeemed.

reuse the link in the email originally sent and the second bundle has the same click structure as the first (and is just below the first iirc) you can get the HB2 code from that to enter in steam

I already had crayon physics, vvvvvvv and cogs so donated $00.01 to get the rest of the pack... like others have said how do you value games you probably will never play? well you don't, you simply pay $00.01 if thats what you think they are worth.

Or you can consider how much the charities and developers deserve to get for their hard work. Unfortunately you don't seem to value their work at all.

You're so cool.

Another Brucie bonus in the pack now.

Great game. :)

You're so cool.

If cool = massive douchery. :)

Paid $6 and feel like I should probably have donated more, might have to later :P Some of the games seem really great. Whether or not they're worth what they cost on Steam is a different matter though.

Another game I've wanted for a while! These guys are ace. I'm glad I paid well above the average price now. :D

Must admit I bought it on a whim and the games I've played thus far have been superb - having what most recent games are missing in bucket loads - gameplay!

I can see me playing these for days so I'll have to revise my donation!

Another thing is that people used to say that graphics in indies games arent good, but Trine and Defense Grid have modern up to date graphics that actually look a lot better than a lot of retail games?

The artwork in Trine is good, but it is mostly pre-rendered, so not really graphics as such.

I know the feeling... I paid a tenner before the extra new stuff, and now I'm tempted to pay £20 and grab it all for my gf's steam account also.

It's a great thing they're doing, and I actually feel quite passionate about Child's Play :)
