Its not about that. It used to be 60kph for practice and qualifying and 100kph in the race, meaning the drivers never practiced pitting from 100kph until the first stop in the race. Making it 80kph all weekend means they get their eye in. Its a rule that was going to come in next year for the safety of front jack men, nothing to do with the tyre in Germany.

Not if Vettel keeps him behind. Needs to make an overtake stick then it could be all Grosjean.
