The one before that was Hungary 2014, where he had to start from the pit lane. Finished in 3rd, ahead of Rosberg who was on pole.Wow!!
Apparently the last 9 rain affected races have been won by Hamilton.
So again who is good in the we and wbo isn't??
Oh that will be Hamilton is and vettel is not.
Fingers crossed for the wettest race ever
The commentators kept going on about how great Verstappen is in the wet; he had one decent race at Brazil in the wet, although he still *very* nearly binned it. I've yet to see proof of his talent in wet conditions. What happened to max, thought he would be right up there in the rain on this track.
If there was a track to do it on, this was the one. A track where you can’t pass and Mercedes are on the back foot.
Love that.
"Fernando, should we go for new intermediates or full wets?"
"I think we should go to the garage"
Thanks for the infoHulk apparently had a tech issue in the garage when the window of optimal track conditions occurred.

Isn't it possible mercedes had more of a wet setup, gambling on these conditions, considering that in dry conditions Ferrari and red bull would be faster?
Considering how far back the mid field is, they probably thought they had nothing to lose.

There isn't much of a wet setup nowadays.
Mercedes just heat their tyres up quicker and are harder on them generally which in dry conditions on this track actually make them overheat a bit. In the wet conditions this came into their favour.
