I'm sorry but this track is one of a few that need to be dropped. Action packed into turn 1 yes due to the wet track, but otherwise it's just soooo difficult to overtake. It's probably the hardest track outside of Monaco.
Hungary, Monaco, Spain and that awful French track I think should be dropped. There have been overtakes yes, but it just doesn't promote good racing and change of position. Today we had cars over 2 seconds a lap faster that just got stuck. Vettel behind Ocon. Verstappen behind Riccardo for half the race then one of the Williams. Lewis got held up but obviously made it through. I just think it's frustrating to watch and another example of where DRS does not work and just provides DRS trains.

Watch how Redbull DO NOT take the Bottas thing any futher at all showing their true colours and intent to target Hamilton when it suits them. I hope they all enjoy their long salty summer.

That looked a bit scary for Hamilton, looked knackered when he got out of the car.

It's just a low IQ take more and more people are using when they either can't understand why someone or something's disliked or choose not to understand.

So I guess you are going to bury your head in the sand and completely ignore all the racist crap that has occurred over the last few months? (Euros, Silverstone, Redbull sacking, Horner ..etc ..etc)

Obviously we are not saying ALL the people booing are racists (that would be a sweeping generalisation which the racist seem to have a monopoly on) however you are being extremely naive if you don't think a large number of people booing are doing it because he is black!

It was brilliant to watch today. Definitely a keeper.

Maybe the 1,000+ racists tweets twitter had to remove, ohh and Redbull having to sack someone for posting racist stuff about Lewis!

Let me rephrase;

How do you know everyone in that crowd booing is racist?
Can a person boo or show disapproval of someone, without being called a racist?
If people make racist tweets, does that mean everyone is a racist?

For context, I'm a person of a mixed ethnic background who grew up in a fairly conservative predominantly white society. I've encountered racism, but I have to judge each case on it's own merits.

My view, people don't like Lewis. Some are racist, some are not. I can't give you a percentage.

That was a great edge of the seat race I thought, the Hamilton v Alonso battle was more gripping than any number of cheapo DRS overtakes. Well done Alpine, well done Ocon and great team work by Alonso. It's a shame the trophy looked like something you see in a 80 years olds house.

Ocon radio - WOW! Wow wow wow wow!

Pit - Ok, reminder to drink fluids.

Pit - That was awesome. That. Was. Awesome. yeah...

Ocon - Alllez the blue! Yes! YES!

Vettel pit radio. Well done. Well done Sebastian. P2. Woohoo!

Vettel - Oh man, I tried, I tried, I tried the whole race. Man.. Following is so difficult. We were faster. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Ah. Sorry guys.

No-one has said that. I'm sure there are people for whom racism plays no part in their being low enough to boo but that doesn't make it not a big factor.

Based on this, would it mean you would have called out those booing Nico in the case below?

Racism sucks, and there should be no place for it in sport. Period. We should also aim to be consistent and at least somewhat equitable.

Lol at some of you acting like booing is a new thing amongst fans in sports…
Agreed!!
