Where?

Its about time these charlatans and quacks were thrown into jail for such treatment.
I'm 48 and god knows how many people I know who have died with cancer.
I personally know 3 people going through it as I type.
Every single one of them have tried alternative therapies with no luck whatsoever.

alright mate you made your point!

now leave it alone and allow the debate to look into a bit more than your cynicism for gods sake..

im interested for one to know about people's own personal accounts. i have another session tomorrow and i am looking forward to it. its been a gradual improvement for me, the areas i was seeking help in are slowly improving for me. i am choosing not to lecture in the aspects of my life i choose to seek therapy for personal reasons but if anyone else has the courage id like to hear about it.

its an amazing journey and i have my doubts at times but the benefits i am seeing cant be willfully ignored.

peace

Who made you god?
When you have your own forum then you can gob off.

Hypnotherapy works - curing cancer with hypnotherapy doesn't.
(Perhaps you didn't read all the thread).

yea ok whatever

It seems to me you haven't read the thread properly.

Hypnotherapy definitely works and I'm not debating that.
Somebody curing cancer with hypnotherapy is not possible.

I think you had your wires crossed.

I don't see how it could soley cure cancer on it's own, but then again we don't fully understand cancer still. I can see how it could aid conventional treatment giving a positive mindset in some cases. I know this sounds sandley but with a lot of things if you feel that you are getting better, then usually you do.

On it's own would be quite frankly mad, if hypnotherapy soley worked. If a hypnotic state could bring about a cell-mediated immune response towards tumours.....

It is not a simple cure all - as said before, hyponotherapy (like most other psychotherapies and psychosomatic treatments) can only help the person heal themselves - if they are unwilling or don't understand how to make best use of therapy then it cannot be forced on them...

It is the spirit that makes the difference between a 50 year old who has nothing to live for and a 50 year old who can still run the marathon and has passion for life.

I did make that point back on post 29

I have proof that positive thoughts prolong the life of a cancer patient against the thoughts of those that give up on being diagnosed. Cancer is cancer and no amount of thoughts are going to keep you from meeting your maker (unless medicine and surgery is involved).

yea we know

now let the debate move on mr right

Don't roll your eyes at me.
Don't you realise that rolling your eyes makes you right?
Arse.

I haven't got a clue where you're trying to get off on.
You're trying to stop a debate dead in its tracks by claiming you're right and then twisting it back on me.

I honestly don't think you are reading my posts correctly.
I think you have the impression that I don't think therapy works.
Therapy does work and I'm testament to that because in 1988 I was sectioned into a Mental Asylum for anorexia/bulimia.
I went through 6 months of weekly therapy sessions and I have seen countless people repaired/cured with therapy.
I've also posted in another thread about phobias and how therapy worked for my daughter.
I believe in therapy's.

However, I will not accept that any person can claim that hypnotherapy will cure cancer.
There isn't an hypnotherapist in this country that would ever make such a claim.

PLEASE READ MY BLOODY POSTS AND STOP TROLLING ME.
