hahaha*, pls do tell how this happen :p

*sorry dude!

Dude?

Anyway, moving house and I'm in the car, my Dad driving the van with a load of my stuff in it. I was following him down the coast road when he keeps slowing down and braking to annoy me.... so I speed up to overtake. Little did I know the speed limit had just been dropped on that stretch of road and I got done by a mobile camera :( When I got the info through the post my Dad found it highly amusing!

my mum cant judge gaps and spaces at all and goes mental when i go through gaps without slowing down ( ones that you could get buses through etc )

even screamed at me to stop before  was about half a metre away from anything

Its a parents thing dude, dont take it to heart.. my mums is exactly the same.

Same and i've been driving for about 14yrs (maybe about 8 legally though ;) ) :D my dad prefers to drive with me anyday :D

luckily my parents never want a lift...not that id ever offer them one for this very reason

my dad would be the worlds worst passenger and, being used to big 4x4s, seems to have an innate fear an insecurity in smaller cars

my mum is a control freak, so naturally is scared out of her wits being a passenger, and also would probably tell me what to do

guess im just lucky

(although im sure a bit of children of bodom or in flames would drown out their whinging, and theyd soon find out what happens if they even thought about touching my radio  :D  )

I was in the car the other day with my mum and she starts screaming

"We're going too fast, we're gonna crash.... We're going to fast, we're gonna crash!!!"

I said, "move over mum, i'll drive"

:D

Right, so to summarise:

1) You were driving.
2) You were actually listening to the passengers about how to park.

So who's the idiot here? The people commenting on your driving....or the plonker who listened to them and ended up denting his car?

:)

No sympathy here, to be honest. When I drive family members/friends/colleagues around, they can comment all they like. They shouldn't expect me to take a blind bit of notice :D

To be honest some parents are hard to ignore. My mum is a backseat driver and she basically thinks she is always correct. She will also carry on moaning/explaining/going on long after you have lost interest and really is distracting.

I am still doing my lessons so I have not had the displeasure of driving her anywhere. My brothers both drive and they avoid giving her lifts at all costs :p
