I AM So Angry!

To be fair, it's not just 360's that fail though (ok, I am on my 4th but got a brand new one from MS.)

I'm on my 3rd Wii already, so it's not just MS.
 
...turned off console and back on...GOW is now not working... I pay this money for a console. I expect the damn thing to work fine!

There's not much you can do about it. These things happen. Get it replaced, ideally via your retailer as it will more likely be a new one rather than a refurb from MS.

Same here. But if you have had a couple of failures, you've every right to complain though.

Good god man.. something wrong there.. think ive heard of one other wii return. No where near as many as the 360's... IMO they really are badly designed and no where near tested enough before launch.. surely MS could have tested for a while longer before launch?.. i mean we stillllll havent got the ps3 out over here.. so would'nt of hurt to?

Crazy stuff. You dont spend £300 on a console and exspect to have problems like this.. maybe this is the wrong forum to say this on... but half the beauty of console gaming after the old old days.. was you turned it on.. slaped your game in... and it all just worked barely went wrong ever.. maybe blow the dust out or something but not problems like these.. :confused:

My brand new 3 week old Wii has given me more problems than my months old 360 and the 360 gets 10 times more use.
 
I know loads of people with 360s and none of them have had a problem.

Take it back to where you got it from and they will replace it. you could have done that in the time it took you to do this thread :)

Don't send it to MS as you have a higher chance of getting a duff one.

Incidently the law is on your side on this as well. if you keep getting duff referbs the original shop you bought it from can be made to give you a new one.

internet posts will always be mostly negative though, afterall those with working systems dont have as much reason to complain.

my 360 worked perfectly until september, now its completely unplayable (it got stoled!)

I'm not the only one then!

My Wii's kept freezing, I was having to constantly restart for 30mins before it froze again.
