I bought a thermal camera to prove to the world ghost demons exist

I'm going to give you a short but serious reply, DB.

If you do set out to record what you perceive is paranormal activity then please approach it as rationally as you can. Read up on the (many) possible scientific explanations for events that people sometimes confuse with 'supernature', and arm yourself against misdiagnosis. I'd suggest starting your research by reading about the effects of things like infrasound and scour your home for environmental factors.

This^^ when investigating the paranormal it's a question of elimination, amazing how one can magnify an insignificant occurrence during investigation.

Not only read but quoted your post

And we are talking about freaken' ghosts. Should we perhaps have a thread about the tooth fairy?

Ghosts come down to a very important fear of the unkown/dark etc. Its just a fight or flight part of our evolution that remains.

As for religions try one of the newer ones like scientology, currently recognised in the usa amongst other countries, and tell me its not funny as hell :D

Does that mean in your eyes that anyone who follows a religion is a joke also? Listen to how arrogant you sound!

I don't see why not. People believing in things despite no evidence that they actually exist, such as a God, to the point where they may even make it one of their main priorities in life, are rather silly.

Fair enough, nothing personal but dismissing something as a joke because it can't be proved either way reeks of arrogance in my book.

WHat I always found arrogant is people who believe in something made up a couple thousand years ago, who think they should be taken more seriously than those who believe in say Scientology(who are routinely ridiculed by other religions) or those who believe they've been abducted.

Just because more people believe the same BS doesn't make it any less laughable.

Think about this, the books Scientology is based around, what if in 2000 years the original books are no where to be found, history has a way or re-writing itself, the books become much like the bible, basically a few new versions are put out and suddenly half the planet believes it, I have no reason to believe that isn't essentially whats happened to date with well, all the various religious books, the bible, Quran, anything else.

What is arrogant is that in terms of religious people, they wish to be treated entirely differently, and lets say better, than people who believe other completely barmy things.

Treating people who believe in different yet completely daft things all the same is not arrogant, insisting that believing in god is somehow different to believing in ghosts, or the tooth fairy, or Santa Clause is indeed very arrogant.

And I think I speak for all atheists, sceptics & unbelievers, that we would like to believe but nobody has ever bought proof.
I'd love to walk to the back of my garden and see a Fairy or watch a UFO land and see an Alien get out or finally see the God that created the Universe but I somehow doubt it will ever happen.

Did someone fix the topic spelling?
Why on Earth did they do that?
It almost gives the thread the potential for credibility.

Much preferred damnons or however he had spelt it.

This can see infared cold signitures in the atmosphere

 Hmmm

I know this is an old thread, but I didn't see it first time around... The whole "using IR to see ghosts" I've seen in a few places now, but I just don't get it... Thermal signatures are notoriously susceptible to all sorts of different types of interference... To me it just feels like people who really badly want ghosts and the supernatural to be real picked this method especially because they thought it would be difficult to prove and disprove in equal measure (not too dissimilar to religion, amusingly enough)... But they clearly didn't realise that it would be damn obvious to anyone that the footage shows nothing

The other one that seems to be pretty big on those shows is when they use some cheap dictaphone to record background noises and then digitally modify the hell out of them until they boost some insignificant sound into something louder and claim it sounds like a voice or whatever....

That and how the ghost always shows up and does something right as the adverts kick in or they take a break from filming...lmao.... Don't they have something better to do with their time?

Dickyb0b, I want your insight on this matter...

You may be aware of Long Johnson. In case you're not here's the video of him:

A paranormal investigator has uncovered some shocking insights into what he may be trying to say.

The world needs your help to get to the bottom of this Dickyb0b!
