You will/are going to get a lot of stick over this but if it's something you want to do, fair enough.

It would provide entertainment for others and there is a market for it.

I and many others just believe it won't prove ghosts exist but there are people who will watch the videos and discuss them.

Read up on the (many) possible scientific explanations for events that people sometimes confuse with 'supernature', and arm yourself against misdiagnosis. I'd suggest starting your research by reading about the effects of things like infrasound and scour your home for environmental factors.

Edit: How does somebody as clueless as the OP get £3,000 to spend on a thermal camera. Mind = blown.
 
You should have bidded to be on the 'Most Haunted' TV show. You could have been one of the guys who sits in another room knocking on the wall. Think of the fame you would've got.

Why not spend some of the 3k on an independent DNA test and analysis.

Present that info to Nature or New Scientist.


EDIT : Oh snap i re-read the nonsense that you think cos they dont have blood... they somehow have hotter "skin"

I strongly recommend against doing this. If your intention is to make your money back on this project then applying rational, scientific data will completely defeat the purpose and provide your potential target audience nothing of which they desire.

Provide as much vague, irrational and illogical content as you can, add on some creepy paranormal music and you maybe onto a winner.
