Maybe we did get you wrong, however it is the way you wrote your posts you attitude and the way that it came across just seemed to me to be a little less than great.

I see, it can be hard to tell from reading someones post on a forum what they are like in real life, least u have had a slight turn around, unlike the rest of these idiots.

I was just saying I have drove fast performance cars before without crashing or getting points for speeding, wasnt trying to justify driving fast or trying to make out im lewis hamilton.

I'd say i'm an above average driver, lots of idiots on the road that cant drive but plenty better than me with more experience and knowledge, pro drivers and the like.

Also I would like to point out that 12 months ban is the minimum ban for dangerous driving, as I pleaded guilty I could get no less, if the court had decided what I did was really bad I would have been banned for longer, 2 or 3 years.

If you were an above average driver mate you wouldnt be on a band and of had wrapped cars.

Please speak english, thank you.

My next car I plan to have a 1.3 yaris or something.

This has cost me thousands, lesson = well and truly learnt.

Tbh, I dont think I will ever have a fast/performance car again. Not that I could afford it till i'm in my 30's anyway.

After the crash I bought a 1.5 Civic Vtec-e, I was after reliabilty, economy and low tax, this fitted the bill. I still have this car, my mum drives me round in it (again lesson learnt) I may keep this depending on what insurance will be like.

I would also like to point out I have never driven whilst banned, never drove un-insured either, im not some idiot chav who doesnt care about the law or the safety of others.

Hope you get your licence back m8y, Just dont run anyone i know or myself over.

Thanks for the nice post.

I hope to be passed fairly quick, I will have a few lessons just to prepare myself, not looking forward to the now huge theory test.

As I have never ever done anything stupid behind the wheel then i have to say you Sir are a Hooligan. Outrageous behaviour you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself, Get to Bed.

Oh sorry ill speak english

"If you were an above average driver mate. You wouldnt be on a ban and of had wrapped cars. Now having to take your 2nd re-test from losing your licence"

You are an idiot and i dont really want you on the same roads as me! unless you have grown up you are going to kill someone or yourself ****

In all fairness, I think his driving has been blown slightly out of proportion.

Sounds like he was a teen hot head when he passed, and soon got out of that stage. Had a considerable number of years without incident.

Sounds like he was trying to show his off his car to a mate, and had a lapse in his concentration - yes we've all decided very dangerous and stupid, but wasn't helped by the fact of no abs.

Imo, if someone gets banned for a whole year, their perception on how to drive is gonna change.

Most of us on these forums like to have a little hoot now then, and for the most part do it safely. Also afaik he hasn't hurt anyone but his own pride in the process.

Anyway, best of luck he retaking both tests (not going to be easy after that many years).

Yes sir, that made me lol.

ZG002 - you opinion counts for nothing, get a life, idiot.

Shimmy - thanks for a sensible post.

Just to make it clear that i was joshing, i wish you the best of luck with it. Ive had more than my fair share of close shaves which could easily have resulted in ban's and retake - so i will spare you the houlier than thou lecture.

That ok as idiots like yourself go on the ignore list. Enjoy your next crash

Do you find the ignore feature actually works? I gave up using it years ago, it still shows that they posted, quotes still show, and the thread stops making sense.

It helps alittle lol. I have two on it now. I just ignore the threads that person makes. :)

When in 2001 did you pass? I think the hazard prediction bit was added to the theory in 2001/2 so it will be new to you. You just click when you see something that will cause you to alter course/something you should pay attention too.

And they have added a show me tell me thing where you have to answer 2 basic questions about car maintenance. Where does the key go? Where does the petrol/diesel go? How do turn the lights on? Etc.

Apart from that i dont think its changed too much. Just have a lesson or two to get back in to the swing of it. I dont think you can truly forget how to drive tbh

Good luck with your next test.

You sounded like a bit of an idiotic driver when you got your first ban, the second I would say was rather unlucky although doing well over 30 in that speed limit wasn't the brightest idea.

Sounds to me like you've learn't your lesson though :)

Sounds like the 2nd ban was easily deserved. Just imagine if the traffic had been backed up to just the other side of the hill, or someone had been crossing the road there.

Just hope you learned your lesson.
