And you witnessed my behavior?

The police at the scene said they werent going to do anything else about it after the breath test, just shows how serious they thought it was.

So if the police at the scene weren't going to do anything exactly how did you get banned?

Of course I didn't witness you, although others did which a Judge took into consideration I would presume.

He won't. That's why I said I hate the fact people like this can get back on the roads, give it a couple of months and the confidence is back up..

Only due to retired traffic officer having nothing better to do with his time.

My solicitor at the time was shocked they were going for dangerous driving over it, I pleaded guity to stop from getting worse punishment.

I know what I did wrong, I drove too fast, the 1st time for my ability and the cars potential and the second time for the road conditions (i.e shouldnt be driving like that on a road at all)

Like I said, the exagerated witness reports. Who will the judge believe? me or a retired traffic officer?

There is nothing wrong with cocking stuff up. There is everything wrong with trying in vain to convince yourself you roxor the big one and refusing to learn from your mistakes.

How much evassive action did you have to take? If he did, did that warrant you then going off and doing such?

Well if I hadnt moved over as far as I could he would have hit me.

I was 18 and drove like a maniac, what do you expect? I changed after the crash though I can tell you. I really did fear for my life that day. The 1st thing I thought when I came round was the cars going to explode, then I feared my dad would kill me, luckily he could see I had learnt my lesson.

How many times do I have to admit I was in the wrong and I will be driving the safest I can forever?

Don't bother arguing with Fox, you never win lol..

I think theres a difference to admitting you're wrong and actually learning something from it...

Well look on the bright side. At least if you crash again you cant get blamed for not paying attention or listening to loud music as you have no car stereo! All attention will be on the road and you wont be tempted to change a CD whilst going round a corner! Bonus I'd say! :D

If you had a decent solicitor you would have got the dangerous reduced to undue care..

Speaking from experience ;)

:D

Sounds like me when I first passed my test and i'm sure the majority of people on here, altough I'm sure a lot won't admit it.

Good luck with the re-test mate.

Am sure like the OP, yourself and myself we've all made silly mistakes due to either ignorance, arrogance or simply lack of experience.

Myself - I parked my 1st car in the boot of a Fiat Tipo 3 weeks after passing my test for the first time :p

Entirely my fault for not paying attention - but I learned by this, sat and passed my advanced course and some 15 odd years later would consider myself a fairly competent driver ;)

Am sure the OP will do the same after two bans
