I Jumped on my FZ1 put the key in the ignition and turned....
But the Key wouldn't turn far enough to start the bike..I think that the ignition had seized up so I go off to the shed and get some WD40 to spray into the ignition..
Then i try turning the key again to start the bike but again & again & again everytime the key failed to turn far enough to start the bike..

A few minutes later I notice the starter button on the throttle housing... :o ... :o ... :o

Haah :D Perhaps it's a brain rest day today, possibly not the best time to be actually riding the bike :P. To make you feel better, I once momentarily forgot how to breath (this story is not based on the truth. It is a lie. I lied. Sorry).

Can't quite match that, but a few weeks back I spent the knobbly end of ten minutes looking for my phone- including swearing, and kicking things around.
The one place I didn't look was the front section of my rucksack.
Which is where I always keep my phone...

You live in (on?) Guernsey and have an FZ1? I think I hate you.:p

My favourite one is looking everywhere for my crash helmet...

When it already on my head...:D

Please tell me I'm not the only one who does the "phone, wallet, keys" check whilst riding, and wondering where the hell the keys are! Haha

I've done this a couple of times, worse one for me has been getting off my bike after forgetting to put the side stand down :D

Pulled over to talk to a friend, thought I had the side stand down - relaxed and sat back on the bike.. Looked like a complete nob when it fell over with me on it! :p

When I owned a cbr1000f few years back I backed out the garage I then put the bike onto the side stand to close the garage door only I had not put the side stand down :D bike just fell on the ground massive brain fart that day I normally take the weight until I feel the bike stand safely but not that day.

It is a day to day ritual for me but my brain just left that part out that day.

Ridden down the end of my road and thought it was quite windy, went to close my visor and didn't have a helmet on... leathers check, gloves check, helmet.... bah

Hahah! :D That's impressive. I do sometimes have to re-check I have my lid on though, when doing the paranoia!
