I dont trust deodorant

I don't trust smelly people.
I've been on enough public transport to have smells assault my nose. There is no excuse to smell like a tramp.

Sometimes you've no option, if it's humid I could be wearing african grade body powder and still pour sweat.

I have my same doubts about deodorant. I use nivea roll on for the last number of years but if i am not going too work then i don't bother wearing it and in winter when im not sweating i don't wear it either.
My brother in law was using axe a lot and then discovered a pump under his arm and it turned out to be infected hair follicle or something, he stopped using the spray.
Remember a while back that one young boy who died in the bath because he filled the room with axe body spray because the boy liked the smell. That stuff is very toxic and we put it on a very sensitive area, under the arms.
I don't think using it for a few months is such a problem, its the long term over use that leads to issues, spraying chemicals under the arm everyday for 50 years has got to have some implications. Also rememer that we have not realy seen the 80 year use of these sorts of chemicals on human bodies as they have not been around that long yet. Same goes for make up and self tan creams.

Never use deoderant anywayjust shower regularly
Aftershave though is used on nights out.
This, i never used it because i never need it. I wash every day (Twice a day on gym days) and don't stink between so it's all good

I don't mind that, it's when people don't wash for days and it goes stale smelling.

It's is much more common for breast cancer to occur in the left breast, it is also most common in the upper area of the breast closest to the armpit.
I remember an old girlfriend telling me after she had seen a breast specialist (dream job
) that the specialist had informed her the reason why breast cancer occurred most commonly in the left breast was that: since most people are right handed they tend to apply antiperspirants more liberally and with more pressure on the left arm pit. Maybe this was just the specialists opinion and not a scientific fact. However...
Antiperspirants = aluminium. Aluminium is a neurotoxin (linked to alzheimer's). It also interferes with and can cross the blood brain barrier.

Strangely enough, I can't use plain deodorant. I very quickly develop dry itchy skin and a rash if I do. Get's quite painful within a couple of days.
But antiperspirant deodorant, I'm absolutely fine with. You would think the latter has everything the former has in it plus extra ingredients, but apparently not judging from my reaction.

That's me within 30minutes if I spray a 24/48hour antiperspirant onto my armpits
I'm convinced they aren't good for you and I'm not the only person in the thread who said that happens.
I can go 12 hours easy with a deodorant and 0 sweat apart from a bit on my forehead if it's really hot
Kwerk, dont' know if this has been pointed out to your, but you Lymphatic system isn't just in your armpits - it mirrors your circulatory system.

By your logic we rally shouldn't use hairspray, toothpaste, soap, shaving gel, hair gel, shampoo, mouthwash or anything else we rub/apply/wash ourselves with.
Personally I think its more likely to do with the amount of Chemicals in our food.
I've just thought of something as well. As most Anti-persperants use an Aluminium oxide in their make up, perhaps you might also consider taking off your tin foil hat just in case....

I am sure it isn't good for you either. Hard choices though...Sweat and alienate yourself or don't and don't.
