I feel old!

Passed at 17, In June '97. So just over 11 years I think!

First car I drove was my parents 1958 Landrover in a field, but my first car was a Mini bought for my 17th birthday, so driven the afternoon of passing my test.

Passed at 22, so have been driving 2 years 2 months and 9 days. Learnt to drive in a 1.6 Octavia, both petrol and Diesel, then in a new shape (what was then) Fiesta 1.2. First car was a Megane 1.6 16v Sport Alize 5 door.

Im 31 now, been driving since 19, took me 3 goes to pass my test

I dont feel old when it comes to cars, my tastes are still the same as when i was 20,i want a hatch to hoon about in, rather than something respectable and comfy.My Mondeo ST bored me compared to my 306 for example.

A Mk2 Focus diesel is not exactly the same as a Mk1 Focus petrol

its a focus and 1.6 atleast shocked at how cheap the insurance is for it though, only 783 fully comp for me once i pass, was expecting 1500+

it goes 70, how much faster do ya wanna go legally, diesels aint noisy anymore certainly not like the old tractor engines used in cars
