I Found a Cat!

So you've been adopted. Welcome to Collin's world :D

Milk - there's a load of horse No Swearing! talked about cats and milk. We've always had multiple moggeys and have five at the mo. Some cats will drink it - some will avoid it as long as there is an alternative. Never leave down just milk. Always have a bowl of fresh water available for them. And in any case, the milk should be watered down. If Collin seems to prefer the water then just don't bother with the watered-down milk again.

I'd also suggest buying the cheaper brands of cat food. Start as you mean to go on. If you start with the big brands then that's all they'll eat.

Take Collin along to a local vet for an mot. Don't feel forced into paying for multiple injections if you don't want to but take the vet's advice, and treatments, for worms and fleas.

Enjoy.

p.s. my money is on Collin being female ;)

Get it to a vets, get is checked over, feed it tinned food, cats are picky though, my cat likes expensive *** from the vets instad of anything we give it...

Also, we give ours water but it gets all the liquids it needs from the food so it never touches it..

But they're House cats!.. So don't get beaten up!.. Well Flynn (The Ginger) get beaten up by his little sis Callia on a regular basis!!.. He's a bit of a softy!.. Loves cuddles and tummy tickles from anyone!!.

Callia is Nuts!... Chirping to herself!... Twitering when ever she enters a room, as if she's saying "I'm here!!!.. Love Me!" and rolls over for a tummy tickle when ever there are men near by!.. 'Tart!'

(sorry about the crap piccies!!.. W800 don't ya know!)

Cats CANNOT digest Cows milk. they lack the Enzyme. feeding cats cows milk is bad for them![/size]

As many have pointed out; this is only true of some cats. In particular it's true of "breed" cats; especially the oriental ones such as siamese and burmese. Your average mogie can handle milk, provided it's not too much and you can tell whether your cat can or not because if it can't it will either be sick or get the squits.

Why did I think when I entered this thread that I'd see 800 images of cats you "found", "in your shoots, eating your laces" or some such.
