just RTM your first post and ask that they close the thread, we ALL get stressed out when small things go wrong sometimes, people that claim otherwise are lier's or practising monks, I wouldn't worry about it mate.
My advice would be to keep switching the 2 cables. With a bit of practice I rekon you could have it down to a fine art and not miss much of the video or the audio. Of course you would have to learn to use the controller with your feet but they do say we are forever evolving!!

no-one forced you to pay 20 quid for a hdmi cable that you should have paid a fiver for ...tops!
8800gt's are hot, if the fan didn't run @ 100% it would die - would you be happier if that happened?
10 mins of research on the 360 and you would have known all about the hdmi/av cable situation ...which is easily sorted anyway.
you work 5 days a week ~40hrs ...cash + beautiful women should just be falling from the sky to your feet with that remarkable feat

The AV cable with the 360 was purposefully made to cover part of the HDMI port so you have to buy official cables to use both, so no matter how thick your HDMI cable is it isn't going to fit with the AV cable unless you do the mod to remove the plastic housing, or buy the official cables.

As a Support Engineer I deal with stressful situations on a daily basis. This is my job and I am good at it. However, you are just taking this way too far now.. You have no right to insult me. If you want to do that, kindly do it to my face. This is supposed to be a family forum is it not?
Correct me if I am wrong but the purpose of a Community/Forum is to allow all users to explain their point of view and toexpress their opinions. Having been here a long time, I decided to post here. I already explained that the Title for this topic is irrelivent and incorrect, which would have been better in GD.
I am not talking about the Xbox here, but the series of events I have had with every recent purchase. HENCE the title is not relavent and should be changed/thread deleted.
The only "User Error" as far as I am concerned, is all of you who have been bashing me for a post which I only intended to express my opinion about some recent things. It's obvious all of you have reacted like this just to the title, and come in here claiming that I am at fault.

You said the xbox was useless, when it wasnt nothing to do with the xbox being useless, you bought something which wasnt compatible with the xbox, so whos fault was it?
end of the day take the cable back get a refund, find another HDMI cable at another retailer. sorted.

The purpose of this thread was merely to express my opinion about all the bad luck I have had recently, not specifically the Xbox. I was just fed up at the time (I wouldnt be human if I wasnt), and posted this at the spur of the moment.
Is that clear enough?

I didnt read the thread because everyone was saying your a crying baby in everpost, i dont have time for that.
Yeah, next time I need to rant I should make a thread called "Man, PS3 sucks!" and complain about the war in Iraq and global warming.
A little relevance in the title wouldn't hurt.
