I hate Call of Duty 4

This is the most annoying ******* game I have ever played. I sold it once before because I nearly broke my hand punching the wall after too many pin point nades landed at my feet. I bought it again and what a stupid bloody mistake that was. I am so fed up of this game it is unreal.

Dying 50 times before passing a section is not fun.

I may not be great at FPS games with a pad but this is a ******* joke.

No point to this thread other than to express my hate for this POS game.

I have it on the PC and the multiplayer is AWESOME. Best game I have bought for a while. Not played the SP on the PC version but I would imagine it is the same multi spawning scripted crap that this is.

Putting on ebay now, that is once I have found out if the disc still works after throwing it out of the sitting room into the kitchen.

It should be fine, they only tend to get damaged if you're throwing them from the lounge to the bathroom.

I was only playing on Hardened. The annoying thing is I know I am near the end. I would love to complete it just so I can take the disk out of the drive and shout at it calling it names telling it that I owned it.

But I can't see it happening. No idea how people complete this bloody thing on Veteran.

Exactly.

Unbelievably, I think it actually won game of the year on some places.

You clear a building, then turn away to fire at someone else, then someone shoots you from the building.

It seems as in the first mission the computer does all the killing for you, but after that they are useless most of the time.

Its short, its nothing new, its linear and theres too many stupid parts which stops the fun.

I gave up during the single player, its just too frustraighting and the AI pulls too many cheap shots.

Oh another thing, the fact that if you get hit, you can't see a bloody thing and the screen starts shaking, so you can't even blind fire a few kills, you are just screwed.

Its almost as if your ai team-mates enjoy watching you get owned by some noob with an ak spraying wildly yet somehow managing to get 100% accuracy in your face.

It's awesome. 99% of people love it, I guess you flal into that one percent though.

You're more likely to damage the cd by leaving it in the drive than throwing it around. The Xbox 360 disc eating monster will take care of it

I thought it was an excellent game. Agreed that the spawning is a bit lame but it keeps you on your toes.

I love it. MP is excellent! I agree that AI in SP sucks though. I gave up trying to complete Mile High Club on Veteran, AI team mates just don't help at all.

I enjoyed the SP game, but do agree its a dirty rotten cheat at times with pinpoint grenades, the thing that bothered me the most was the sniper missions, on the way to the hit you could hide 2inches away from the enemy but when it came to the final part at the big wheel they could grenade you from 100 feet away LOL, that was as far as I got on veteran before wanting to smash the game up also

Actually, if you dive right in front of a group of enemies and huddle behind a seat they will actually come and clear the area for a change.
The AI is very cheap, but after 2 days trying I did value that achievement quite highly.

I still havn't got through the trauma of cod3 on veteran. Had it since launch and its the single most annoying game ever. I vow to one day complete it though and move on to cod4.

I've not played it for a while, but it's not exactly easy on the standard setting, so once I up it to Hardened, I'm sure i'll get aggressive too.

If you were having problems on veteran i could feel for ya, but hardened
is very forgiving - e.g if your getting hit you have plenty of time to move. On vet you mostly be killed.

I completed the whole thing on veteran and found that for 99% of the game, taking your time will get you through - there are a few parts that are very challenging (on veteran, not hardened) NFITWR, Mile High Club.

That level is all about you. If your waiting for team mates to clear rooms out for you your doing it wrong - i should know as i tried a good 80 times to complete that level (did it in the end). Its all about the '+forward key'. If you move forward you team mates will follow, but dont rely on them to complete that bit.
