I hate Communists

and this is why:

go go China. Cannot begin to believe how they got the Olympics and how anyone is actually willing to go. Apart from our celebrity aristocrats who ran (literally) onto the gravy train and their title.

This kind of thing is a disgrace that a country can get away with doing that. Did you read the 'are you still proud' thread? People whining about Britain. In Communist China you'd be locked up for libel and subversion.

i've nothing more to add as it makes me furious.

What do you all have to say?

I think you mean "I hate the Chinese government". None of this has anything to do with Communism, tbh.

But yes, it's ****** disgusting.

Communism is great in theory, but fails in the practicality department given how human nature works :p

A bit like saying Intelligent Design works great in theory, but fails in the practicality department given how evolution works :p

China isn't really communist anymore, just a bunch of suedo-capitalists in wolves clothing.

Just an oppressive regime that is desperately trying to cling onto power as the more affluent people want more rights.

Communism aka Marxism is very complicated and misunderstood. I would go as far as to say China isnt a communist state at all, certainly Lenin or Stalin wouldnt recognise it.

No worse than Zimbabwe imo just doesnt carry the communist umbrella

Please leave commenting to those who have a faint idea of what they're talking about.

Lenin wouldn't recognise it because Lenin practised Leninism.
Stalin wouldn't recognise it because Stalin practised Stalinism.
Communism is not "aka Marxism", it is a stage in Marxist ideology (which is aka Marxism.)

Just clearing up some confused and misleading thoughts.

That pretty much sums up all political ideologies. In theory they have something going for them, however human nature tends to get in the way...
