I hate feminism

.one. that's humerous :p

seriously though, i can spend all day holding doors open for women, but will they ever hold on open for me? the worst part is the occasional dirty look when you don't hold a door open for them.

feminism is vernacular for 'man hate'

There was a feminist piece in the local student magazine last year. Basically, the feminist had a feature complaining about prostitution, rape and sex trafficking that takes place around the UK at the hands of men and it showed that men still didn't respect women in modern society.

We wrote a comment which made it into the magazine the next issue that said 'your in luck, because we already have a force designed to combat such evil - the police! Maybe the reason that nobody respects feminists any more is because they no longer know what they are campaigning for' - take that, complain about everything feminists!

Please say it wasn't just me.

When you discuss it in class just say, 'All of this ho's problems could be solved by my penis', then sit back in your chair, arms folded behind your head awaiting praise for your cutting insights into the world of modern woman.

Only if you're Asim.

Feminism's fine, it's when feminists complain about not having doors opened for them, not getting flowers randomly or not getting other generous female-orientated traditions that bugs me.

exactly... they want to be equal, so take those traditions away... unless they want to buy me some flowers every now and then, maybe then ill get her some flowers.... :D

You could try a calm, logical argument explaining how sexist the book is.

Of course, no-one will care. The whole point of it is to promote sexism - if you argue against that, you'll be shouted down and marked down. It's a rigged game and you can't win. Even if you abase yourself and apologise for being male, you'll still lose because you're a man and they're irrationally prejudiced against men.

Feminists either don't want sexual equality or don't understand what it is - if they did, they wouldn't follow an obviously and inherently sexist ideology. Feminism is about female people only. At best it ignores men, at worst it persecutes them, up to and including advocating the "phasing out" of maleness from humanity. All of feminism, all of it including feminism so extremely moderate that mainstream feminists deny that it's feminism at all, requires defining everyone by and as their sex as a first step in everything. You can't have an ideology about female people only without defining everyone as "female" or "not female". So feminism is innately sexist right across the board, even at the most moderate end. Sexist in that it requires defining everyone by their sex and sexist in that it advocates consideration in all things for people of one sex only. Utterly and irredeemably sexist, from the foundation on up. I advocate sexual equality, therefore I oppose feminism.

I remember having to do some feminist rubbish as part of my English A-Level. I just made sure that I quoted a lot of Freud telling them that it's all just penis-envy. Went down like a house on fire that did.

I used to think that Freud was talking complete rubbish about penis envy, but there's a definite thread of obsession with penises woven into feminism ("phallocentric"...oh dear) and that has led me to think that in some cases he might make some sense, bizarre though it is.

+1. Anyone seen that Nicky Campbell talk show on BB1 Sunday Morning? They have feminists on that every week voice there opinions and they're always right ugly hags.

Did you ever stop to think that maybe the man who selected them for appearance made sure of that?
