Does anybody else have some great flat neighbours, they'd like to personally shuv out the nearest window?

Post a letter through their door stating ethnic cleansing operations begin next week. Make sure you don't leave any finger prints on the letter though.

Immigration check letters. Use rubber gloves.. See if any of them leave. U may get lucky, If not does it have cctv? Get your stuff out and post a firebomb through the letter box**. Leave ..

** This bit i don't recommend actually doing at all so don't unless theyv tried to kill you or something

Id recommend your option of going back to parents and trying again mate my ex had this issue and i had to lend her a lot of money to sort her situation out

Looks like short term family, get deposit, new place!

and actually make an effort this time and not go by, oh it's quiet at 1pm in the afternoon must be like that at night.

Well for my ex's new flat i went over at night to see if i could hear any noise see who was about etc for half hour as i did when my dad was buying reposessions to refurb and rent out as hes a landlord.

Just tell them to shut the **** up, not in those exact words. I'm always amazed by what people will put up with to avoid any form of confrontation, most of the time people are just completely oblivious to how sound carries.

It's great to talk behind a keyboard.

Immigrants stole my sleep!

I had a thread like this on OCUK but it was dogs and people and not one but two adjoining neighbours. Long story short is the Council are gimps, My neighbours and most of Humanity are scum and the best hope you have is finding a nice quiet house somewhere. I scored and got lucky and found that home and i currently love it but it took almost £2k to find it and leave my old home and much mental anguish. 4 years on just yesterday the same Council were investigated about only 1 person last year being taken to court over noise pollution. Yet they had the most complaints in the whole of Ireland!

If it happened again i would have used force and violence thats how bad it ended up where i lived. If the council dont take swift action and seem like a bunch of suits then simply move out the violence is not worth it. It would just be you blamed for a racist attack on a vulnerable immigrant family who are as of yet not adjusted to our ways. I would guarantee it, i had the local bigwig from housing out actually accusing me of making noise and asking questions about me exaggerating noise. Even though i had recording of dogs barking for 6 hours on phone they refused to use my evidence.

Please tell me you aren't actually 27!

You do know there is a lot in this situation out there right? Economy, poor wages, laid off, company went bust, can't get on the housing ladder, not a lot of money, student loan debt. Huge deposits required, no guaranteed safe jobs, some people will have to rent their entire life…. so to speak. On the long run rent will cost them more. People having to dig into their savings, greatly and others if they have any.

A lot of people out there are barely scraping by week to week to pay bills.

How do you get out of a vicious circle?

I'm sorry, I stopped caring the minute I saw the word "ethnics"

Their race has NOTHING to do with the level of noise they make, nor how many of them are living there.

Come on mate its obvious they just have to "get on" in life and eventually they will own a home. The problem is this is just a Cameron quote and second by the time you do own it you will be just about ready for the grave.

And anyone blabbing on about not owning a home needs to prove they do not have a mortage as you do not own squat. The bank owns it :D

Although I did quote just that part of the post, I was exclaiming shock at the post in general. It doesn't sound like he's had to move back in, it sounds like he's scared of moving out :p

And yeah, I'm aware of the "current economic climate".

Me too, Neil79 is quite the little racist though. I've seen him moan about people in other threads, and the main issue was that they were not white British.

Does anyone really say 'ethnics'? Apart from ignorant racists I mean.

Nope, Neil79 fits right in to that category quite nicely.

Going on his original post, he probably is a racist. However, I'm not sure how that makes his complaint any less valid.

Unless of course he's invented the noise in a bid to rationalise his dislike for them?
