"I hate smokers" thread

You assume his condition was caused by cannabis yet his cannabis addiction could have been his way of dealing with other underlying issues which have pushed him over the edge. He may have had schizophrenia earlier had he not self-medicated. Did you consider that? Can you prove otherwise?

PS My brother has Schizophrenia
Nope he was alway quite normal I suppose, had a good upbringing no real hardships. Cannabis was the catalysis.

I used to smoke the stuff loads I may add, but it started making me paranoid so I quit.

this is generally the reason it brings on schizophrenia, just can make it happen quicker/slower, but seems as though its always going to come on either way.

Nobody has ever died from OD'ing on cannabis, that said, there are countless deaths of people who died as a result of being extremely high e.g. they thought they could fly...

Bringing this back to smoking itself, I can see why smoking annoys people.

I smoke. It started as the odd cigarette with a beer when with my mates but i now tend to smoke 2or 3 each evening and more at the weekend. All the guys I hang around with smoke so it probably started as a peer pressure thing but I like smoking or at least the buzz it give.

I should quit and am pretty sure I will in the next year. it's something I quite enjoy and hopefully isn't doing me too much long term harm given I've only smoked regularly for a year or so and am not on twenty a day.

Can see why it annoys people but it's not like it's a war crime or anything. Bit of perspective needed.

I hate smokers too. If it is a random person who I have not met before and they are smoking, yes I do genuinely absolutely hate them. They are inflicting their addiction onto other people by their sheer presence, many seem to be completely oblivious to how far the stench of smoke travels.

News Flash: Just because you are out in the open does not magically make the smoke go straight up.

I also love the idea that smokers feel victimised by the ban or the constant battle to reduce the areas where smoking is permitted or the constant increase in price.

I have actually written a letter to The Major of London (good old BoJo) requesting that we push for the banning of smoking on pavements.

While we are at it, yes I hate the smell of stale curry on people as well. I started to feel nauseous yesterday on the train when a guy sat right next to me absolutely reeking of the night befores curry. Easily as offensive as smokers or BO.

You should lock yourself up in a negative pressure room with air filters and various other devices to help sterilise the room. Should the inevitable happen and you need to come into contact with another human being please try to do this behind a sealed window, using a two way communication device. If worse comes to worse and you actually have to go out into the real world, then I recommend a NBC suit, easily ordered from army surplus stores; don't forget the rubber gloves and gas mask to go with it.

Alternatively feel free to exterminate anybody who does not live up to your standards. This way you will be free to live in a world with people who think just like you.

You should visit Banjul, capital city of Gambia, the open sewers and fresh fish markets in combination create a very interesting odour, you'd probably faint you tragic little ponce!:p

I also love how now, people find ways to divide and hate each other over something as trivial as smoking? I don't, for the life of me see why if somebody smokes, is fat or does drugs it's a problem? If they're perfectly acceptable human beings, where's the problem? I don't see why it should be such a problem because some people smoke enough to make themselves smell of stale smoke enough or it causes illness in some people so it's horrible.. It's like banning cars because some people drive like idiots. People should informed of the consequences, but aloud to make their own decisions and left the **** alone to do it.

In the same way that i feel about the non-smokers preach from their ivory towers, i despise the smokers that act as if it's some kind of disability.
