i have a 980ti..i bought a 1070 did i fail?

Having been on the look out for a 1070 for a while, that's an exceptional price - especially for eBay- are you sure your not going to receive a box with a brick in it? :p

If something seems too good to be true & all that (especially on eBay!!)

lol who knows :)

am I allowed to post a link to the ebay sale?

I doubt an eBay seller of a used item is classed as a competitor tbh (and therefore breaking the rules) I'd like a look at the ad - to see if it looks iffy - as the price has alarm bells ringing here!

so cards arrived, all working good so far.
temps a bit cooler than the 980 ti and no radiating heat coming from it like the ti when you hold your hand near it.
gpu score in timespy a little lower at 6480 vs ti at 6568 but I was hitting the power limit constantly with the 1070

check alphacool as they have waterblocks for every card and if they dont than they will make one free of chgarge for you if you send them your card.
im using one myself on a 980ti hof

how are you finding the magicool pump noise wise?

no I'm not out anything,i sold the 980ti for the same amount I bought the 1070 for so its not cost me anything more except time and a trip to the post office.
