I have just discovered music

Pandora is really good. I just bought £100 worth of CDs from recommendations on there. (Mostly £5 brand new ones from the US resellers on a large online shopping site).

I was a late bloomer, when I was 8-10 all my friends were into music, but it didn't appeal to me at all, I preferred playing games etc.

But when I turned 11, everything changed. 8 years on and music is one of the biggest parts of my life, without it I cannot function for long.

Same here, except i didn't really get into music and discover what i really liked until around 14 years old
But now i have a much wider taste in music than most of my friends, which is great

Already have my mate who i work with, for example, had never even heard of The Strokes before i got him a job, and when i put my music on at work he'd be like "wtf is this rubbish you've put on?", but i eventually wore him down and he now likes The Strokes as well as a few other bands he'd never heard of.
Although getting him to like Avenged Sevenfold or Dragonforce is proving to be impossible!
