I just completed COD4

Ahh well thats 1 out of 7 million people who purchased the game that did not like it, doubt that will make Infinity Ward sad at all :P.

make that 2 out of 7million, i absolutly cannot stand the single player game to such an extent i can not be bothered to complete it (on hardend). Respawning enemies in choke points just doesn't interest me.

I say that, but i enjoy multiplayer only on hardcore mode. Give the normally too spammy nature of the multiplayer added depth i think, otherwise the regular game just doesn't interest me whatsoever.

Single player is absolutely ace - I can't say I was teary eyed at the end tho :p Probably the best game I have played in the last 5 years.

Shame they couldn't have made it longer, but luckily the excellent MP makes up for it :)

i completed the game yesterday, some levels and some moments are just simply amazing, i only didnt like some moments where soldiers just kept coming and coming and coming, so annoying,

but a very good game,

Did you try and complete it on normal first? If you move through it swiftly enough there are far less instances of over-spawning enemies. You can end up sitting in one place expending all your ammo, but if you walk 20 feet forward it triggers the next event, everyone moves forward or runs away.

Can we have a big fat **SPOILERS** in the title so we can talk about the ending openly? :p :D

CoD 4 was absolutely fantastic. Bar the fact it was a little short, and I didn't enjoy the helicopter mission.

What!! That was ace, probably one of the best missions!... I only played it completely on the 360 though, completed it on the last 2 difficulty settings.

Haha, was actually really easy aslong as you waited till the very end when the wind dropped.

I just noticed something that will annoy me now whenever i play it. In the Mile High Club, bonus mission, as you jump out of the plane.. What is the plane all about?! It's literally a cynlinder and 2 wings, with no windows, texture, anything! Just a kinda gradiented metalic(ish) colour! Couldn't have been that hard to even just slap a few windows on surely?!

Seriously now, Who missed the "shot" then? (sniper mission) admit it! I missed loads, lol.

In my defence, that bit was so much harder on the 360!
I missed too. I kept trying to aim for his head and i was overcompensating for the wind most of the time. Eventually i decided to aim for his chest and took his arm off :p

missed 1st time as wind picked up just as i took the shot, think it hit one of his buddies instead, 2nd shot i blew his brains out, shame the story required him to survive rofl

What was the last mission on the plane all about? It was awesome, but why?

Just a bonus. It's a brilliant replayable level because you can always try and bear your time. It's also fantastic if you run "timesale 0.5" and try and get all headshots with the pistol :D

Because I'm a bit of a weirdo with nuclear stuff, I liked, but at the same time was hit hard by the bit after the nuke goes off and you come to in a wasteland for a few moments, just enough to look around at the devestation before popping your clogs.. wow. Stuff nightmares are made of!

Who here didnt think when they saw Price "Come on you ******* THROW IT" ? :p COD4 was probably one of the best intense shooters ive ever played, every mission is a pleasure, and while i wasnt disapointed at the ending (Mile High Club ? AWESOME), i was disapointed that it was all over :p.
