Firstly it sounds like Schism, not sure on the second part. Lots of Tool tracks explode into a sound tidal wave like that! :D

Ditto. I've waited for 5 years. I don't want my first impression of this album to be a poorly encoded 30 second clip.
 
Meh whish i never clicked on that now its harder to wait for the album now.

Have any of you got tickets booked to go see them in juneish time?

Screw it, just click the link man. All this ******** about listening in the context of the album is by the by, if you've waited 5 years then treat yourself. I'm eager for the release too but it's not like the third coming of Christ, just listen and be done with it, same goes for everyone else holding out for whatever reason.

Can't judge too much from a small clip but it sounds good so far. Oh and i'm seeing Tool too :D

bah, if people can respect your need to hear thirty second clips of the album now...you should respect people's want to hear it all in context. it's not a big problem, i'm still just as excited about it as the next man. if i accidentally hear it anywhere before i hear the album; i will be very upset.

i realise that from now until the release, Big Chris is going to try and make me hear it before i want to :p
