I don't need to apologise for posting saying that can member please remember not to post about our competitors who sell hardware.

Then the next time I was involved was today. I didn't ban anyone or kick off at forum users, or email anybody on the forum.

I believe no apology is required from me!

I admit that I should have checked the thread Friday evening, but unfortunately Real-life took over and I wasn't at my PC to see how the thread(s) unfolded.

I also believe that Neil should not have been banned, I have no idea if Valkia banned anyone else though.
 
and so it has all ended well. I now believe we have better clarity than we did on Thursday before the original OP.

It is clear that we are freely able to name GAME deals we find from any source and that where previously names where disguised this is no longer the case. Further more I fully understand that as long as the deal is at least £5.00 cheaper than the GAME OCuK may have in stock then thats also cool.

I dont think anyone has ever intended nor wished to post or promote hardware deals anywhere other than OCuK. We as gamers within this section are only interested in games and can post game prices we find that might save someone a few quid.

I think from the posts today from the MODS they are as disappointed as we are how the situation unfolded but they have gone along way this afternoon to restore order and common sense.

and to top it all off Niel79 has a new game and all is good.

To Ace, Thunder or any mod thats on now - Perhaps now is a good time to lock this thread - all that can be said has been, if anyone remains unsure they can read over this or review the rules that are now clear.

I'm sure all of us would welcome a break from it ;)

So to those today at OCuK and Thundy - thanks for the efforts put in today
