OK, I know it's been a while and things have changed a lot. I've managed to get them to understand quality over quantity and the 2000 blogs deadline has passed and is on a back burner to get quality blogs instead.
I've used the feedback I had here to help me, and I've now been given a whole site to design and build for our welsh team, developing ideas for new sites and tweaking our current main site adding into that a huge adwords budget and told to crack on.
I asked for a gift i could offer people who helped out as well, figuring it'd be a discount but they've given me a ref code that gives free wills instead of the discounted wills.
The ref code at the end is purely to help track who it came through, I don't get anything for it. I believe we need to spend more time in online groups giving advice instead of the hard sell, this will help me do that
Any issues please let me know.
EDIT:
I've also just been told that the free will offer lasts for 30 days is available to anyone with the link so please share it if you think it'd be of benefit
Wondering if this offer would be better as a dedicated thread?
If you're taking criticism of the site then other than the buttons changing size they're not in line at all. Considering the rest of the page is all in line with each other the buttons diagonal from each other and keep changing size is making my face twitch .
Please consider adding a desktop view button for those of us who hate most mobile sites. Appears iOS desktop view requests are ignored.
Nice to be offered free things . Also glad to hear they took your data onboard and didn't shoot themselves in the foot by spamming articles.
I am not a fan of the auto playing videos, but the site is mainly aimed at the older generations and they feel that videos advising what to do throughout the site will help them understand what to do.
as for the buttons not being in line with each other, i've tried them over many platforms and browsers and can't replicate it.
I've clicked your link and signed up and then started the estate items etc.
The thing that's coming to mind for me at the moment is content based, how can I trust this website / company with what seems to be very confidential information?
There's lots about why I need a will which I accept is the first point to over come from a sales POV but there's lots of people know that should have a will but either don't get around to it, or don't know where to start (or who to start with). Why should I start with / trust your company [putting aside the your very compelling discount /free offer]
In case it's not clear that's feedback not a direct question to you.
This is the tech directors project so I am not sure of the whole process but you fill the site out, you print them off, sign them etc and send them to us.
We then use a specialist company to store them. I don't know the name of them though but I have asked so if I find out I'll post it.
I've also just been told that the free will offer lasts for 30 days is available to anyone with the link so please share it if you think it'd be of benefit
