Ok I recently bought dirt 2 and need some help. I suck at cornering and sometimes even going in straight lines. So can anyone help me. Also what is the best camera view (really hard to see everything wheen I'm in the view of where you can see the steering wheel). BTW I play with a pad.

What pad? 360? Is there not an option in the game for steering sensitivity? Iirc I played D2 with a 360 pad with defaults fine

Seems you are not the only one with this problem from a Google search. I'm sure I didn't change any settings and it worked fine for me

the inside car view is harder than the outside car view(no idea on technical terms), I'd choose a outside camera where you can see the whole car as your only starting. Steering wise, go slow into a corner and accelerate out, its quicker

You've just gotta learn to handle em mate

I found Dirt 2 quite easy until the much later levels, especially on the dirt tracks where it became really difficult to choose the different routes and navigate them in time... the AI had no issues whatsoever.

Just keep playing, you're using a 360 controller so my advice would be if you go off-track and you're outta flashbacks, accelerate gradually with the trigger button then try and catch up once you're back on track.

Also knowing when and when not to use flashbacks is a useful thing to get the hang of. If you mess up really early on, chances are you'll be able to catch up without using your flashbacks. Save em for later as much as you can.
