Lots of nice brand names come with the 260 though.
Prodrive involvment, Mustang, Tremec, AP racing.....The upside of Rover producing this car when they were so close to oblivion was that they couldn't even begin to try and design their own components.....so thankfully they bought externally. If Rover had been cash rich at the time then I believe the 260 would've been dire.

Hehe, I understand what you are saying.. but to be fair to Rover they do (did) know how to design decent high performance cars when they put their mind to it.. SD1 Vitesse for example

I am hopefully going to get a 260 in the new year, although it will mean I won't be able to sneak back home late at night anymore without waking anyone up .
