Every month my mum is calling mobiles and the phone bills are over £120. I'm sick of paying them, today she said it's £125 and she's not paying it I don't care.

Is there any wires I can cut in the phone socket to disable the phone but keep the internet alive?

No, they use the same wires. You may be able to phone your provider and get them to bar outgoing calls though.

Don't pay them, let them build up and have her face the harsh reality of what she is doing and how much she is wasting on phone bills.

She needs to learn!

lol cause she can't afford to pay them and she always says she won't call mobiles but I've had enough now the last 5 bills have been huge. I don't even have a job so I'm scraping by on baked beans on toast.

it costs like £2 to block a number, every phone bill on Kingston Communications

This sounds tantamount to child abuse - my finger is hovering over the big red ChildUserReporter button on my phone right now.

Have you considered going on Jeremy Kyle?

Its technically possible, you could build a filter to block lower frequency voice use, but allow high frequency ADSL use (almost like the reverse of a microfilter)

Even just adding series capacatance might work... or even a tiny break with the air between acting as a die-electric (heard of that one before, the tests indicated the was a break in the line and nothing should work... ADSL worked, voice didn't)

No, all emergency numbers aren't covered by a block.

If in doubt, use *341# which blocks all calls except emergency numbers.
