Buy a spare front plate for the NTE5 socket just in case. After you have a spare, hide it away somewhere in case you need it then superglue an ADSL filter plug into the normal socket. Then superglue something else over the phone socket on the filter. Sorted, no physical way to plug a phone in at all then

You can dial a code in to the phone to block a certain number, all numbers expect emergency and freephone, or just block all outgoing numbers.

Or hpget screwdriver remove the face plate and disconnect the phone wires for all sockets other than broad band. Then either tamper with filter or by a broadband only filter with out the phone socket on It.

If you try the code, it usually tells you if it's been successful, or you will get a message "Sorry this service is not available on this line". For what it is worth (3 seconds of your life), it's worth a punt.

If you ate technical then just chop the end of the rj11 off and snip wires 2+5 I think it is (google which wires by use, I can't funny remember) then crimp it back on.
