I think this clears everything up, I'll be sure to check this thread for the continuing inquisition when I'm done in surgery today being a selfish jerk.

Anyway, I still don't understand why the dealer would sell you a car that's worth mid to high 70s for $70k. You say you get good deals because you know people, but the initial list price, available to the general public, was supposedly only $76k? It just doesn't add up, but hey-ho.

He's 28, a qualified surgeon and training to be a Pilot iirc. OK his Dad is megaminted and he is from privlidge and almost certainly wouldn't have the success he has without that aspect, but dont let that take away from the fact he has a wife and adopted a kid, and worked hard to become a surgeon, money alone can't by that, it doesn't matter how much you dads worth. I know I wouldn't of done all that had I come from money.

Now, I could speculate as to why you randomly barged in here and picked a fight with the dude, but I think people can figure that out for themselves, the question I gotta ask is, how silly do you feel right now? Cause you certainly look it, even more so than you normally do.

Edit: Also please don't let it go, its hilarious watching you post so badly.

Without giving Daves life story its a shame that some people don't believe what he's said. I think I've seen all daves cars, granted not since he's been in the US, but I doubt he suddenly became a fraud out there 'for lolz'.

He could very easily be a daddys boy and have every new ferrari, setting fire to ones that have a model number starting with an odd number 'just because' but to my knowledge he's always been a hard worker, never taken handouts, and made it himself.

Its a shame that whenever anyone does well some people decide to try and discredit them :(

Is this it http://autos.aol.com/used-detail-4308976763209681422-Nissan-GT_R-2009/

Why would the dealer say it was an 11 with 900 miles when on the the web it says 09 and 8k miles.

Was it the dealers first day at his new job? Interesting

Yes that's the one. As I said before, I didn't even know the dealer had the car, I had no intentions of buying at the time!

Just human error I suppose. I have nothing to gain by making a story up. It's not like I couldn't afford it if it was $76k.

No I'm not kidding about my son, he's 14, I adopted him this summer.

Can I just check, which version of Elite to they play?

You can bring up all your questions either on the mailing list or at the next meeting, I am buying this month iirc as well. Can we keep elite posting crew chat just to the elite section for now until this whole confidentiality thing blows over.
