I.T. Crowd Series 4?

I thought they tried to have too many themes. I was hoping at the start it would all be about *spaceology*

Linehan appears to be trying to do a Seinfeld with his recent stuff, and failing miserably. You could argue the whole male masseuse story was lifted from the Seinfeld episode "The Note". George: "I think it moved".

The arse kiss was just thrown out of nowhere with no pre-setup or any context made. It happened just before an ad break so you had a whole 3-4 mins to be thinking, "WTF? Where the hell did that come from?" It wasn't until a long way into the "trial" it was given some sort of plausable explanation, i.e. a masseuse taking pride in a massage well done, and even then it was half hidden behind the various similies of the word "bum" by Roy. Up until then we were left to thinking it was an actual sexual assault, why? what precontext was there for this? They didn't even resolve the trial, just a slow hand clap?!

Haven't been impressed with the new season so far.........and it seemed so promising at the start with the photo-shopped pictures lol

I've enjoyed all the episodes :).
I had some work colleagues who went to see the filming of an episode which was at the studios in Slough. Makes me wonder why they're filming the outside scenes in and around Wimbledon.

 It was perfectly easy to follow and completely obvious that he was found guilty. Also what makes you say it wasn't an actual sexual assault.

Some people really do ruin their enjoyment of things trying to be smart.

Didn't know this was back!

The only thing I don't like about The IT Crowd, the dvd's are interlaced, so the quality is shocking :(

Hope they're able to release them in blu ray

Oh put the handbags away ladies.

I have the DVDs of the first two series, didn't notice the IQ to be that bad. Have to have another look.

I noticed that when I watched it recently, after watching a peep show DVD where the quality was much better, doesn't bother me too much though.

Yeah, I was a bit confused as well. The kiss on the arse was a kind of 'weird comedy thing' that set roy up, but then they made a whole 'thing' out of it, that wasn't even funny. It was more a throwaway type joke, stretched out to the point of unfunniness.

Series 1 was superb, series 2 was good, series 3 was pretty decent, series 4 up to now has been ok. It's never been as funny since the Denholm character was killed off, Matt Berry is a funny guy and the Douglas character is pretty good but he's no Chris Morris.
