Although shirley when they die on a knife they must be talking bread knife or something significant? In which case, no sympathy as those should be hand washed
These seem like such a faff compared to a basket. Are they any better or is it just because it frees up space at the bottom? Also get a dishwasher with a cutlery draw.
They are better. Easier and neater to organise, frees up space in the bottom where you tend to put bigger items such as saucepans. The trade of is you get slightly less height on the upper draw but we prefer it to our previous dishwasher. These seem like such a faff compared to a basket. That makes them easier to take out when they've finished. I stick mine in upside down.
What do you do with sharp knives?
Our Bosch has a drawer at the top for utensils and sharp knives as well as the standard cutlery basket. Very handy. These seem like such a faff compared to a basket. Are they any better or is it just because it frees up space at the bottom?
It’s about as easy as dropping it into a basket.Ah ya see I just couldn't cope with having to organise dirty cutlery into those littles slots.
